Aud, Riggsy,
Audrey.

How Did I Get Here?

Audrey Riggs is a creative nonfiction, suspense and mystery writer and the future author of The Other Side of the Salon Chair: a Memoir and novel Bound to Roots. Using two decades of expertise in the salon industry, as well as her unhealthy fascination with crime documentaries; she's collected more psychological stories and experiences than hair splinters. These fuel her craft to create comedic and mind bending novels.

Audrey's future career goals are to finish her memoir, as well as Bound to Roots, through self-publishing or seeking representation. She aims to speak at seminars to further promote the humor in the heaviness of being a hairstylist, as well as potentially retire her shears and apron before her back and joints are shot. At which time this will better serve potential publishers that are seeking an unabridged, creatively oriented, original (and maybe slightly unhinged) author.

Audrey lives in St. Louis Missouri with her longtime partner, their two teenagers and a crippling coffee addiction.
